You made a choice to change the world. And it didn't quite work out how you imagined it might. What now!?!

First you acknowledge that the show isn't over until the fat lady sings. That even if it looks like the world is going to hell in a hand-basket because of your choice, that that may not even be true. That if your choice felt light at the time you made it, something can and will come out of this that is greater than what was available before.

There is no end to this thing we call changing the world. You wouldn't even try to change the world unless you are the kind of fierce visionary who knows that *something* else MUST be possible.

And that's the space you continue to create from. The idea that no matter what you choose, you're always going forward. No matter what you choose, you are making some kind of difference. No matter what it looks like on the surface, there's some magic ready to emerge. No matter who judges you or what you are judged for, that you know something that will create the change the world is seeking.

I had a conversation with a friend who had made a choice that did not end up at all like he desired it to. On a big scale. It was an intense time. In essence, this is what I said...

"Now is not the time to be less in the face of unexpected results. Now is the time to be even more fierce. To continue to choose. To turn ourselves up. The world needs our fierce, not our disappointment. It needs our determination, not our lack of courage. It requires us to go forward, even when we have no idea what forward looks like. If we are the people who CAN change the world, we must keep going. When the ground gets shaky we run faster forward, we don't back off or back down."

The cool thing is, these are the things my friend has said to me many times too. We have each other's backs. We are here together to remind each other that just a few people being as powerful and potent as they truly are can create a much greater future than the people in positions of power. We are the wildcards that can pivot how the world functions through the choices we make, not the positions we hold.

Being a wildcard is not for the feint of heart. Outcreating the world means you show up as greater than anything that exists. You will not cave in; you will not hide; you will not stop; you will not make yourself wrong and you will not give up on your dreams. You will show up as the you that the world is asking for... the you that can change our collective future. You're here to contribute, not just watch the show from the sidelines.

Know this...

Your dreams aren't crazy.

Your vision is bigger than you.

Your magic is essential.

Your weird is the catalyst.

Your determination is the platform.

Your curiosity invites the insights.

Your brilliance is nothing without your willingness to play bigger with and in the world. What would the world be like if you were being everything you are, and everyone in the world knew you and what you could do? Would it be a little bit different or SO different that most of the 'problems' we currently have would not be able to exist?

Outcreating the world is one of the fiercest visions you can have. You're asking to create what has not existed before. That might be as 'simple' as world peace. Or it might be as magical as the ability to teleport yourself anywhere you desire. When you ask to change the world by being who YOU are, you open up possibilities that no-one else can; you receive awareness that you didn't know was available and you invite a creative space for bringing new ideas, new connections and new adventures into the world that will change everything through their difference.

Where do you start to create this kind of magic? With questions that don't have obvious answers. These are questions that invite the contribution of the universe in all its wondrous ways. Inspired by Gary Douglas from Access Consciousness®, here are three questions I ask every day:

1) What will it take to outcreate myself today?

2) What will it take to outcreate everyone I admire?

3) What will it take to outcreate the world today?

Asking questions like this is a playful way of saying 'Hey Universe, what do you know about this? Can you show me please?' Without this kind of playfulness you get stuck in your head, trying to figure out what use you are in the world. When you are open to possibility, the world will use your gifts in the most extraordinary of ways. When you are fierce in embracing the possibilities that arrive, you will expand your creations beyond what you imagined was possible.

The last words go to two of my favourite authors:

“This is precisely the time when artists go to work. There is no place for despair, no time for self-pity, no need for silence, no room for fear. We speak, we write, we do language. This is how civilizations heal.” – Toni Morrison

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” – Margaret Mead
